‘नासा’च्या म्हणण्यानुसार, तेजस्वी सौर प्रभाव हे एक मोठे, वैशिष्ट्य आहे. जे सूर्याच्या पृष्ठभागापासून बाहेरील बाजूस पसरलेले आहे. छायाचित्रात ते सूर्याच्या पृष्ठभागावर पसरलेले असून सूर्याच्या बाह्य वातावरणात, कोरोनामध्ये बाहेर पसरलेले आहे. याची वायूचा दाट ढग आणि पृथ्वीच्या ढगांचे सूर्याचे अॅनालॉग प्रॉमिनन्स लूप सारखी रचना आहेत. उत्तरेकडील महत्त्वाचा भाग मुख्य फिलामेंटपासून दूर गेली आहे, असे ट्विट स्कॉव्हने केले आहे.
